Fawzy El-Emrany is a Palestinian artist born and raised in the City of Gaza/Palestine. He pursued his studies in fine arts and holds a BA from Al-Najah National University, Nablus, and an MA in fine arts from the University of Art Burg Giebichenstein in Germany.
Since he was a child, Fawzy has been fascinated with colors and experienced painting that drove him into the shapes of humans and the physical world around them. Painting became his soulmate, carrying him on journeys of observing, testing, reflecting, and uncovering the most complex human relations. Any observer of his paintings can read a story in each line and color; any observer can see a full narrative in every painting.
The artist has been living in Europe for 27 years, almost half of his life jiggling between the cultures of the Orient and the Occident. East and West merge harmoniously in his lines and colors. With his mastery of oil painting, and without any sketches, colors flow on the huge canvas like a song of life inspired by long-standing cultures of the homeland Levant and the current home up north.
Over the past 8 years, Fawzy has been painting endlessly and landed in Zurich/Switzerland in 2022 where he launched his solo exhibition at Kunst Sichtbar Gallery (https://kunstsichtbar.com). Two more group exhibitions followed in the same year.

Fawzy El-Emrany est un artiste palestinien né et élevé dans la ville de Gaza/Palestine. Il est diplômé de l’université nationale Al-Najah de Naplouse et de l’université d’art de Burg Giebichenstein en Allemagne.
Depuis son enfance, Fawzy est fasciné par les couleurs et la peinture. Sa peinture est devenue son âme sœur, et chaque tableau peut être interprété comme une histoire pleine de significations humaines.
Vivant en Europe depuis 27 ans, il mélange harmonieusement les cultures orientales et occidentales dans ses œuvres. Sa peinture à l’huile, fluide et spontanée, se nourrit des cultures de son pays d’origine et de son environnement actuel.
Fawzy a organisé sa première exposition solo à Zurich en 2022, avec d’autres expositions collectives cette année-là.
